Petite Chose (Little Thing)

Petite Chose revisits the classical theme of vanity, not as moral warning, but as intimate tragedy. This little thing appears caught between coquetry and decay, still adorning herself though the flesh has already withdrawn.
Her red flowers burn faintly against a world drained of colour, echoing the absurd persistence of beauty in the face of nothingness.
