🔴 Night Breath
Night Breath
Night Breath is an unusual interpretation of the myth of the unicorn: an enchanted yet dangerous creature, belonging more to the world of night than to that of innocence and fairy tales.
Throughout history, the unicorn has often been portrayed as a formidable being. Cosmas Indicopleustes, a 6th century merchant from Alexandria, described it as “fearsome and invincible”. In a medieval tale of the unicorn and the serpent, recounted by Jacobus de Voragine in the 13th century, “the unicorn is the figure of death”.
Here, emerging from the darkness, it belongs to the world of twilight and dreams, where beauty and danger coexist.
